toto, i've a feeling we're not in kansas anymore..
wow. hot damn [and hello].
i have one quite adorablekittencat in my lap.. and he is incredibly precious (all besides the mass amounts of cat hair he leaves behind, that is). punk is definately 'the man of the house'. [ha.]
anyway, on to my, uh, adventurous life [insert eye roll here]. yeah. so, B and punk and i are living with B's family here in good ol' tennessee. we are currently employed in the state of kentucky. he's managing a BK (what's new?), and i'm waiting tables at ryan's (hey, it's what i'm good at, okay?). besides the hardest work i've ever had to do at a restaurant and the lack of bus carts, --
the good news: we are moving into a gorgeous apartment (FINALLY!) by friday. 2 bedroom. 2 bath. a balcony with a BEAUTIFUL view of the mountains. a dishwasher (trust me, it's a plus, most apartments down here don't have them). and washer and dryer hook-ups (now if we can just afford a washer and a dryer - heh). the funny thing is the apartment is in virginia. rose hill, to be exact. it's 25 minutes away from middlesboro, ky (where we both work). a semi-long drive, but it's totally worth it (we're only paying $375 a month :P). there aren't any nice apartments in kentucky or tennessee (near where we work), anyway.
so here i am. waiting for monica (our very kickass, sweetheart of a land lady) to give us a call back to tell us we're set to go.
meanwhile, i'm going to play with punk and get some shit done. i'll probably go visit B at work later. oh yeah! the best part about B's work: danielle works there! for those of you who don't know, dani used to work for B at clio BK in michigan. her mom lives in virginia, and she moved down here about a month before we did. she went through the drive thru, saw B, and B hired her on the spot. (heh.) sometimes we all forget we're not in michigan anymore. nevertheless, she's so rad. 'love me some danielle. <3

it sounds so wild. you moved to tennessee, employed in kentucky, and live in virginia! HOW EXCITING!!! :P
i was so nervous when you said you were holding a kitten in your lap... i wondered about punk. and if he's become the second man of the house due to a new addition to the family. :) glad to hear he's still DA MAN and doin' good!
